Applications of Induction Heating
Induction heating finds an use in broad scope of applications. Compared with resistance or gas furnaces, induction furnaces are smaller. They heat an object evenly throughout its volume and allow a temperature to be easily controlled. The temperature in the induction furnace decreases as well as increases in more rapid way. Besides induction furnaces, typical applications of induction heating are hot enamel outlets (in Figure), induction soldering, preheating of machine components or sealing of plastic closures.
